Well let me tell you.......that graham cracker streusel coffe cake was SO FREAKIN' DELICIOUS!!!

Apparently so were the chocolate bunnies that I put in the kids' baskets, because a mouse, that we didn't know we even had, ate some of each of the kids......just like Goldilocks :-(

Tommy's tball practice went really well yesterday. I can't believe how much he is "into" the game and listening and being in the ready position at all times, LOL

I got to Johnny's game as he was starting his 2nd inning. If I don't say so myself, that boy can throw :-) I am SO proud of him. His technique is really good and even his hitting technique has improved this year. The only disappointment is that some of the boys on his team don't have their heads in the game at all times. For example, after his pitching innings were over, he was at short and there was an awesome diving stop he made, got up to throw to first, and the kid's head was in the clouds, so the throw hit the 1st baseman in the belly, and the runner even made it to 2nd :-(

But all in all, I think the team has room for improvement and it looks like it will be a fun season for him.

However, I am bummed that he took his batting gloves off, put them on the bench, went out to the field and the gloves were GONE. Of course the couldn't be found and NO ONE has any clue as to where they are. Hoping they will turn up in someone's else bag.

Yesterday was just SPLENDID. I woke up, went to Jazzercise, came home, straightened up a little, did a quick goodie run at Walmart and CVS, came home, napped on the floor with John and just LAZED around......

I got these HUGE coloring books for the kids, Scooby Doo, Powerpuff Girls and Looney Toons, mini Barrel of Monkeys for Tommy, a stuffed cranberry colored bunny for Steph (she wrote a letter to Mr. E. Bunny and requested one, so good thing I asked her what her letter contained), baseball cards for Johnny, those silly gel filled rubber yo-yo things, a chinese jumprope for the kids (they try cat's cradle a lot with a shoestring, LOL) and then the "normal" chocolate bunny and other assorted sugary goodies.

John wanted to make sure I had a good assortment as this might be the last year that some of them believe. John is already 9 and I'm sure sometime soon he's gonna "find out". I usually hide eggs outside at 7pm at night, and I'm always afraid the neighbor kids will tell them that they saw ME hiding the eggs. Maybe I'll have to do it later this year, but then I'm afraid I can encounter the bear, ACK, LOL

Tommy has practice at 3pm today, and Johnny's 1st game is at 3:30......I'm gonna miss his opening throw :-( I'm hoping Tommy's practice only is an hour and I can zip down to Johnny's field.

I also have to cook a brunch item and a dessert item today.

Have a splendid day, and a very Happy Easter!

I have to remember that there are people who read this blog that I don't "see" around anymore. Sorry gals.....

Anyway Tommy lost his first tooth tonight!!! ACK.......my baby!!! LOL

He is busy with t-ball and had his kindergarten orientation yesterday. He was SO bummed that he couldn't go to kindergarten this morning, LOL. He is already reading and I'm so afraid that he is gonna be bored out of his mind next year. Right now we have 25 kids in each kindergarten class next year, but one or two more students would push the district to get a 3rd section, which would give us 17-18 kids and the teacher could perhaps let him excel. Well, I guess I shouldn't be that worried, as Steffi was also reading going into kindergarten, but he's not as subdued as Steffi was, LOL.

I am busy spearheading the international luncheon for Steffi's grade. 60 children all bringing in something from their father's heritage, and I am to make sure they all do that, with no duplications. It's not bad, really, and I participated in the luncheon last year, so that was helpful. We went to a musical the other day, for a field trip. It was about Peter Rabbit.....very cute. We are also making preparations for her 1st Communion, all is well there too.

Johnny is in full-swing with his baseball too. He's on the Yankees this year, and is SO thrilled!! I've been approached by several of the moms of girls in his grade.....seems like he is one of the boys that is all the rage, for this year, anyway. They giggle foolishly when ever I see them within his sight, yet, the girls tell him how much they can't stand him. Remember those silly games. In fact, John came home today and said that he heard, that he and Dan and Dillon were hot, LMAO

The kids are still excelling in their schoolwork and I lace into them when they bring home 97's because they are making silly mistakes. Well, I'm not really lacing into them, but I am making them aware that they really should look over their work and go slowly when taking tests. Silly kids, just like their parents ;-)

I don't think I mentioned that we are waking the kids up at 4am in two weeks and bringing them to DisneyWorld, have I? Well, I just mentioned it, LOL. They are gonna poop their pants on the way to the airport, or when they finally figure out what's going on. We've made a bunch of reservations at really cool places for dinner and will be able to park hop for 6 days!!! YIPPEE
