Oh boy......baseball games that end after the children's *bedtime* and consists of 3 children getting extremely dusty and dirty really suck, LOL. I love watching my son play. He is permanent shortstop because of his fielding abilities, and I really hope he gets to live out his dreams of being a professional athlete. He turned two double plays tonight, that left most of the people watching to pick up their jaws from the ground. I must say for being a 7 year old, he is on the right track!! WTG Johnny!!! And YES, I am the mother of that child!!!
My peeve.....embedded midi's into webpages........too many times I am surfing, volume at a decent level, but since the internet is *quiet*, I can listen to the tv as well, when all of a sudden.......BOOM......some annoying music is playing, just bothers me...
Eddie Van Halen is battling cancer.....how sad..
Okay, there is a new breast enhancer thing on the market, and is spotlighted on The View today. I'm dying here. You wear this huge sticky plastic things 8-10 hours at night and they are electrically stimulated to make you breasts grow a cup size naturally......I wish I could find a link for this......off to search
OMG......this guy just said, that if you put it on your head, you will grow taller and grow hair......WHAT???

Wow...I've been lax on blogging, but when you have beautiful weather, kids, outdoor projects, etc.....you really shouldn't be sitting here, in the house, on the computer, LOL.
That about sums up what I did this weekend, baseball games, birthday parties, garage sale prep (for 5/5), helping John dig and level and etc....the dirt for the patio he'll be installing, church.....
On another note, I love looking at all my web stats and seeing where people are coming from now.....I have to start updating my reads, as I see fit.

So, why is it that I had to wait online for 3 hours for tickets to my daughter's dance recital......my goodness, it's not like we are going to see Mikhail Baryshnikov, Michael Flately and Savion Glover. It seems there are lines like that for every little thing in my town. How about waiting from 3 am to 10 am for entrance into the Parks & Recreation's preschool....because there are only 50 spots per age group, and it's great value for the price......I did that 2 and 3 years ago, and get to do it again, next year, in February, outside, I might add for my son.
Tomorrow we have a 8am Little League parade......then 4 pm team photos, could these two events be any further apart???

I got this from Amy, who got it from Darla, who got it from someone else, LOL
It is SO true
Like just 4% of the population you are an ADMINISTRATOR (SECT)--detail-oriented and organized. You're an extrovert, but you lack the over-aggressive tendencies of obnoxious "go-getters." Very nice. However, you probably like getting up in other people's business--living through them a little... dude, sometimes you just gotta let it ride. Don't be such a busy-body.
Anyway , you're an excellent manager, of both yourself and other people. That's because you prefer thinking concretely rather than creatively, and you'd rather follow what your mind tells you than your heart--people respect this, but it can

John's birthday is Wednesday. I had purchased some things from Omaha Steaks; BOGO 5 oz. Sirloin Steaks, that came with a free Ham steak and free steak knives, which arrived today, and I put them in the freezer, in the garage.....I then took the styrofoam cooler it comes in and hid it in the back corner of the garage. Guess who was looking all over the place in the garage today for his tape measure.....Grrrr
Woohoo, while I was getting the ink tag removed from my pants, I scored a $45 jean jacket for $9.99. The mall today.....1/2 of the escalators were being worked on (in the stores and in the middle of the mall), not that it mattered, cuz I had a stroller, but the elevator in the middle of the mall was also out of order, so I hiked over to Sears to use their elevator....guess what, they had no a/c working, it was stinky, hot, muggy, gross.......I refused to go back in there to use their elevator to go back up, so I walked all the way across the mall to JCP, where I needed to get to anyway, but it was way too much walking, bending over for the stroller, wearing jeans, and in my mules.
Perhaps if I shaved my legs today, I could have worn shorts and my keds, LOL.

I have to go to JCPenney's tomorrow to have them remove an inktag from a pair of Docker's I bought there for myself, two weeks ago. I've NEVER owned a pair of Docker's before, but I need *dressy casual* pants, so....
But, doesn't this just suck when it happens.....and I WATCHED the clerk look at the pants for a tag.......Phooey

Okay, so with the GAWGEOUS weather we had today, I've been lax in blogging.
I summerized/cleaned the sunporch and demildewed toys for the garage sale......they look so spiffy, maybe WE should keep them, LOL. The porch becomes a MESS in the winter cuz we store wood in there, and traipse the ashes from the house in and out that way, so it looks so refreshing and inviting right now. Whoa, just remembered, I put a bunch of plants out there, and if I want the greenhouse effect, I should shut the windows.....
I also rode my husband's bike around the neighborhood. I live on the top corner of the neighborhood, up on a hill, so 3/4 of the way, I coast and zoom down the hills, then at the VERY end, I get a MAJOR steep hill to bike up......so far, I feel fine. He finally is buying me a new bike, so once the baby learns to ride (he is only 3, LOL) we could go biking around as a family. I have my old ten speed in the shed, that I bought with my paper delivering money, eons ago.
I also was able to access a website tonight, that I'm not telling you about, cuz the traffic is horrendous, LOL.......no, really American Family Immigration History Center, I've gotten lost in there, when I do get a good connection, and have found some really interesting stuff. They document all trips into the country, not just the initial one, and I can tell when some of my ancestors Americanized some of our surnames.....really neat stuff, to me, anyway...

I still haven't told those who don't know me, who I am.....so......
I am Donna, married to John, since 10/92. I have three mostly awesome children...Johnny, 7, Stephanie 5 1/2 and Tommy 3. I've been a dancer (tap, jazz...) my whole life, even though midway through college, I became a business major from a dance major. It was at that point in my life that I met John and decided that *Broadway* was not for me. I worked for a major cookie company for a bit, and became a SAHM in the summer of '96. We bought our home in the winter of '96 and here I am.....LOL
We live in the New Jersey, in a beautiful area, surrounded by lakes, mountains, and we're not too far from NYC.....best of all worlds.
I think that's all for now.......any questions, just lemme know, LOL. I really have to finish pricing all this garbage for my garage sale.
Oh, and as you can see, I became a major follower, yet again, and got my webcam up and running. Some day I'll be the trendsetter, LMAO!!!

Today, Johnny had his first real baseball game. For the past two years, he was playing t-ball. He was 2 for 3 and made an AWESOME double play at shortstop.....kinda saved the game type of play, so his WHOLE team crowded around him and were hugging him and giving him high fives.......what an awesome feeling. I was/am SO proud of him!!

Homes Should Have Sex Rooms, Says Charity
A charity says care homes for the elderly should have rooms set aside for residents and their lovers to have sex. Relatives And Residents Association believes the rooms could help couples when one member has to be cared for in a home. It says visitors often feel uncomfortable about spending time in private with their spouses and that staff should do more to make them relax. Julia Burton-Jones, author of the association's new book, Involving Relatives and Friends, writes, "One in 10 people in homes are still married, often in marriages that have lasted 50 years or more. The separation when one of them has to go into a home is devastating." She adds, "The needs of those with lovers must be considered carefully. Their privacy and desire for intimate expression of affection and sexuality needs to be protected."

I keep forgetting to check my Blogvoices.....I wish there was an option that alerted me to new ones.....
I'll have to introduce myself, at some point, to those who DON'T know me, but for now, I'm gonna ramble. Tonight after dinner, the children were all dancing around to some songs off our Napster collection (Weapon of Choice, Funk Soul Brother, Pop Goes the Weasle, Jam on It, You're Not the Boss of Me, It Wasn't Me) and really going nuts. They were cute, but I needed a break. I went upstairs to read the paper, from Sunday, April 1st. Gosh, I really need to go through my piles of crap more often......anyway....I put on VH1 and watched Behind the Music - Bon Jovi. There are certains things that I'm proud of in my life, and one of them is that I'm a Jersey girl.....say what you want, but Bon Jovi, The Boss, The Sopranos, the shore.........need I say more????
Recently, a coworker of John's, who is *in the biz* played down at BonJovi's house, with Springsteen.....how come he didn't invite me??? I have to settle for this coworker's New Years Eve party, where we sing Springsteen & Southside Johnny songs while he plays the piano.

I have to figure out my graphics and such, and what to put in this thing, but for now, this is it. My youngest, Tommy, just went down for a nap, and it is time for me to straighten out my upstairs, so I'll catch ya later!
Here I go......jumping on the bandwagon...but, hey, people ARE asking about MY blog, LOL
