How come I drove around for 18 months without getting notification of THIS I brought the car in today to be 99% of the population and just get it sealed, when lo and behold.....I am in the 1% where the whole thing needs to be replaced. Thank GOD this did not become a tragic problem for me or my family.

Friday Five
1. What is your biggest pet peeve? Why?
Flaky people who don't follow through on things they say they will do...constantly. I just get annoyed when I am relying on someone to do something in order for me to do something, and they are late or don't do it, and my work just gets doubled, when I could have done it all from the beginning anyway.....
2. What irritating habits do you have?
(1) I tend to act like a know-it-all and will fight for my case, and uh, sometimes......I'm wrong, LOL
(2) My husband gets irritated by my morning routine, which seems to be a habit now, of getting coffee and coming on to the computer to read various newssites, message boards and emails.
3. Have you tried to change the irritating habits or just let them be?
(1) I try to be more aware of it
(2) Just letting this one be, hehe
4. What grosses you out more than anything else? Why?
People talking while brushing their teeth......it makes me gag......don't know why, just does.
5. What one thing can you never see yourself doing that other people do?
Getting my genitals or tongue pierced.

and......yes......the excitement of school and waking up early is over. This is day #3, they are still sleeping, and I need to go wake them up now, LOL.

Oh, oh, oh, I am SO livid!!
I manage to fit in a pedicure and manicure today for a wedding I am going to tomorrow. I never do that, but I've become good friends with a woman, who also happens to be a manicurist. I was SO damn careful today.....I just happened to look at my nails and my right pointer finger looks like it is wearing down a little, and my big left toe is TOTALLY screwed up......I probably did that while I was trying to fly a kite with the boys, at Steffi's soccer practice......
DAMN
And...of course, Tara is not around tomorrow......so I think I have to go buy polish that is close to what she painted and fix those two spots.
And THAT is the reason why I NEVER wear finger nail polish and only paint my tootsies when ABSOLUTELY necessary.
I also think 4 coats of different stuff on the toes is overload.......I mean I do one or two when I do them myself...granted they're not as shiny, but it lasts for more than one day.

I sent a cute little huggy e-card to my mom saying how we were thinking of her today.....she sent one back.....made me tear up :-( ::sigh::
On a happy note, just got a call from my SIL to announce that the IVF worked this time around. Her numbers are increasing and she has gotten further than she did during the last round. My 8.5 yr. old nephew, who has been BUGGING them for 6 years to have a sibling is more excited than her, I think. I pray that they will not be let down.
Just got the backpacks ready to go, and all the showers done, clothes are laid out.......but it still doesn't feel like school is starting tomorrow......
We also got a call tonight, saying that Johnny won an American Flag and pole and bracket from the Chamber of Commerce. I TOTALLY forgot that the kids had put entries in at the bank. We use this bank for the PTA, Brownies and Cub Scouts, and I was there one day, and had to go in, and not through the drive thru. I NEVER go inside the bank. The kids then started filling out coupons and I reprimanded them for walking away. They explained what the coupons were for, and I agreed that they could stay ONLY at that table and when they were done to come back over to me, which they did. And, here tonight we get the winning call :-) He was SO happy, and so am I, as I now have a pole, bracket, AND a fullsize American Flag!!!

Happy 35th Anniversary to my mom and dad......
What do you do when a spouse passes away......do you still acknowledge the day. I know my mom knows I know about it.....just not sure what to say.....
Btw, I was born 9 months and 17 days from today, hehehe

Don'cha hate.......when it's 9:34pm, and you are *otherwise occupied*, and the phone rings, and it's your friend that you know that you need to speak with, and your daughter is sleeping on the pull-out bed in the family room, next to the phone, and answering machine that are turned up WAY loud, and you are *just about finished* and you are afraid that she is gonna quietly sneak up the stairs and *catch you* LMAO
So glad she slept through all of that, and John and I were able to complete the task, ;-)
Don'cha hate getting calls after 9pm though......I guess my adult friends don't know *my* rule, LOL
